MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Here were are again, the start of season 16 of the RHL, who would have thought we’d still be going and I have to say thanks to all of my long time owners for making this so easy to do. Right from the start I will ask everyone to please do your best to adhere to deadlines, this is a courtesy to both your opponents and me as it makes everyones life easier and the league a lot more fun. I hope everyone is ready to go and I want you all to focus on having fun and enjoying the season, so good luck and let me know if there are any problems/questions.

Regular season is ready to go and the updated league file for block 1 is on the website. Remember to plan for your correct injury games each block and you need to put out a strat for all 4 road games by Wednesday night eastern and please when you send them, put the teams they are for either in the subject or the body of the email so teams can quickly see if they need them. Also, I would ask you PLEASE include your 4 home strats as well both for your sake and mine as if I have to sim your home games for any reason I will just let the game set up your strat if none is defined and you will have to deal with any penalties later on.

You need to send out game exports as well as boxscores for all 4 home games by the second Sunday of the block at 9 pm This is MANDATORY, both the exports AND boxscores please. Game summaries are nice, even if it’s just one quick comment for all 4 games, just adds to the league and makes it easier for everyone to see what is going on. If I do not receive game exports after sending updates on Saturday and Sunday, I will send one more request directly about an hour before the deadline on Sunday. Unless I get a request for an extension of time, I will wait til the deadline and about 30 minutes later I will sim games so I can get new files out before I go to bed Sunday night.

First block is regular and second block has Thanksgiving, so will be extra long. Sorry for this so early but I misjudged the start of the season by 2 weeks so it is what it is and we’ll get another break after block 3 and then roll through the rest of the season after. Good luck to all and I hope we are ready for another great season!
