I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Week 5 is complete and another great week of games that were in early, you guys have no idea how happy that makes me :O) Thanks
to all who have subbed in games so far this year to keep things moving along smoothly, it's a huge help and I appreciate it a bunch.
Keep up the game contacts please and make sure you continue to CC me on them so I can help when needed in getting games set up or
getting subs. Good luck to all!

AIM/Chat Contact During Games

Guys, we have this talk about once a year and it's time for the yearly reminder. AIM is a great tool for getting games set up,
fixing any in-game problems and talking trade or just chatting during the week, pre- and post-game. During the game, AIM and Chat
should be used sparingly for the occasional comment or notes of encouragement to your opponent. They should NOT be used for a running
commentary on the game, berating your opponent or the game/Dave Koch for your perceived bad luck or game issues. If you have issues
during a game, keep notes and when the game is complete, please send the game file to Dave Koch with your notes and he WILL look into
the problem 99% of the time. Nothing slows a game down more and annoys an opponent more than constant chatter during the game, so
please, I know we all get frustrated from time to time with the game/our teams, but make your one comment and then just feel free to
swear at your screen all you want, but keep it off the chat. Thanks guys!

New Action File Available

There is a new Action file available, please be sure you get this from the website and check that your game file is dated 9/26 after
you install it (before games this week please).

Week in Review/Preview

And now we are down to 4! 4 undefeated teams remain after 5 weeks and the NFC holds three of them. Atlanta and Detroit continue their
great runs to start the season and and remain on a collision course to decide the top spot in the NFC East in week 8 when they finally
face off. To get there, both face tough tests this week as Atlanta get the reeling defending champs in Jacksonville, not an easy place
to get a win while the Lions head to New Orleans to face the Saints who need a win to keep any hopes of a division title alive.
Philadelphia is also undefeated so far and face an Arizona team, fresh off their first win of the season and looking to build on that
going forward. In the AFC, the Cowboys sit all alone up top after Indy falls in a huge upset to the previously winless Chiefs who have
a dangerous team and we warned this was a trap game coming in and the Colts fell for it hard.

As noted, Atlanta and Detroit continue to lead the NFC East and have a 2 game lead on Jax and Seattle and look to continue their
winning ways. St. Louis comes back after a tough week 4 loss and beats their closest division rivals, the Packers, to extend their
lead to 2 games. Philly has Tampa Bay lurking 2 games back and the high powered Bucs offense could prove troublesome down the road,
though the Eagles may well be the class of the NFC this year if they can avoid the traps of their own.

The AFC East still belongs to the Jets who are 2 games up on 3 teams and with a lot of division games to come, easily hold their destiny
in their hands. In the Central, the Steelers catch up with the Colts, but face a tough test with the Chargers this week on the road and
things could change quickly. The Colts head to Cleveland and look to take back their division lead with a win. The Cowboys are up 2
games in the division with some big division wins already, but Tennessee and San Diego are hanging around and with some hard work could
give them a run for the division and are certainly at the head of the playoff hunt right now.
