MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
Denver continues to roll, while everyone else seems to be dividing
pretty quickly into the haves and have nots. With one week til the trade
deadline, just one more deal this week, we’ll see if anything bigger
happens next week before it is all done. This year it appears the good
teams are good and the other teams just aren’t really at this point as
there appears to be a large gap between the top and bottom and the
playoff races this year might be over very early. Let’s see if any of
those who struggled through the first half find their legs and get on a
roll and if any of the tops teams might come back to the pack.
Please make sure to get started on game contacts asap and don’t forget
to CC me on all of them so I can make sure games are getting set up
smoothly. Let’s see if we
can hit the first week deadline with all games played head to head and
as always if you need help let us know.
If you need a sub, feel free to find your own sub or contact me
asap so we can try and get you hooked up with someone to get your game
in. Make sure you have the
latest action update which is available on the website.
Game files are up for the next week, so make sure you go download
them and start making contact for week 10 games. If you have any
questions, now is the time, so please ask before we get too far into
things.
I
can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game
export when the game is complete.
Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the
game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to
keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.

News from Around the League
In the AFC, Denver wins another big one over Indianapolis this time, can
anyone stop the Broncos? LA Rams are the next ones to get a shot as
Denver continues their trip through the Central division. Cleveland
beats Green Bay to move into a second place tie in the East, keeping
them both in the top 7. Pittsburgh beats Chicago and LA Rams run by
Minnesota as they both stay on top of the Central. Dallas takes down NY
Jets and Tennessee stays with them as they win in OT over LA Chargers.
Buffalo takes a tough loss to NY Giants and San Francisco falls in the
final minutes to New Orleans.
In the NFC, New Orleans sneaks by San Francisco and Carolina just gets
by Arizona as both stay on top of the West. Jacksonville gets a big win
in the East over Seattle to move closer to the top and Atlanta takes
down Detroit to keep pace with the Jags. New England just gets by
Houston but stay on a roll in the Central and Miami gets a big win over
Kansas City to move out of the basement. Tampa Bay downs Philadelphia
out West and NY Giants win big over Buffalo.
Coming up in the AFC, Denver will try and keep rolling as they head to
the LA Rams and Cleveland hosts NY Jets. Pittsburgh heads to
Indianapolis in the Central with both trying to stay on top of the
division and Green Bay hosts Buffalo in an East division matchup.
Tennessee hosts Dallas as they fight for the top of the West while San
Francisco and the LA Chargers try to not totally fall out of the Wild
Card race. Chicago hosts Minnesota as both teams fight for their third
win of the season.
Coming up in the NFC, New Orleans travels to Philadelphia and Carolina
is in Jacksonville as the battle on top of the West continues. Seattle
hosts the NY Giants and Atlanta travels to Houston trying to stay in the
division race. New England is off to Miami as they try and widen their
