MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
Week
3 is in the books and we have just 4 teams left undefeated, 3 in the AFC
and two of them go head to head this week. We also have 4 teams looking
for their first win, and they all have tough games coming up to get that
win. Despite the holiday, pretty good contacts overall and just one game
had to be simmed as the two teams couldn’t match up their times. Let’s
try and keep those to an absolute minimum going forward and thanks to
the teams who have needed subs so far for being very up front and
communicating well so we had someone in place to cover them. Good luck
to everyone in week 4 as we hit the quarter pole of the season!
Please make sure to get started on game contacts asap and don’t forget
to CC me on all of them so I can make sure games are getting set up
smoothly. Let’s see if we
can hit the first week deadline with all games played head to head and
as always if you need help let us know.
If you need a sub, feel free to find your own sub or contact me
asap so we can try and get you hooked up with someone to get your game
in. Make sure you have the
latest action update which is available on the website.
Game files are up for the start of the regular season, so make
sure you go download them and start making contact for week 4 games. If
you have any questions, now is the time, so please ask before we get too
far into things.
I
can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game
export when the game is complete.
Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the
game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to
keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.

News from Around the League
In the AFC, Denver wins big over Buffalo and Cleveland wins a tight one
over the Jets to keep things tied at the top of the East. Pittsburgh
holds on for a big win over Minnesota and LA Rams keep pace as they give
Indianapolis their first loss. Tennessee takes down Chicago and Dallas
falls to Carolina and we have a tie at the top of the West. San
Francisco wins big over LA Chargers for their first win of the season
and Green Bay gets their first win over NY Giants.
In the NFC, Seattle wins a close one over Detroit to stay the only
undefeated team in the conference and Atlanta wins over Jacksonville to
stay a game back. New England shuts out Miami and Kansas City falls to
Philadelphia. Carolina beats Dallas and New Orleans tops Tampa Bay. NY
Giants fall to Green Bay and Arizona wins big over Houston sending them
to 0-3.
Coming up in the AFC, we have the big one at the top of the East as
Cleveland hosts Denver while Pittsburgh tries to stay unbeaten as they
get a visit from Kansas City. LA Rams travel to Miami and Indianapolis
takes on division rival Chicago. Dallas hosts San Francisco and
Tennessee heads to Buffalo as they fight for first in the West.
Minnesota heads south to Atlanta and LA Chargers do the same with
Arizona. Green Bay hosts NY Jets in the East as they try not to fall to
far off the pace in the East.
Coming up in the NFC, Seattle tries for 4-0 in Houston and Atlanta hosts
Minnesota hoping to catch up in the division. Carolina hosts Tampa Bay
while Philadelphia and New Orleans clash to try and stay atop the West.
New England gets a tough test from Jacksonville and NY Giants and
Detroit try to get back to .500. Miami looks for their first win as they
get a visit from the LA Rams and Kansas City travels to Pittsburgh.
Arizona needs a win with LA Chargers in town if they want to keep up in
the West.
