THE COMMISSIONER
6 Blocks into
the season and a few trades in the books, now the deadline is just 2
weeks away and the playoff races are starting to heat up. As teams
start to make some moves, there are a lot of teams still alive for at
least Wild Card spots, so now teams have to decide if they have any
real chance or if they need to start planning for next season.
The deadline is Sunday, 3/13 at 9 pm eastern and all trades
must be confirmed by both sides by that time or they never happened.
Good luck to all and after this we will start focusing on the
final playoff pushes that all teams will be making.
Block 7 is
ready to begin, rosters moves have been made and the updated league
file and Excel file are on the website.
Remember that all injuries this year are coaches decisions BUT
all players are limited to the exact number of NHL games from last
year, so plan accordingly.
If you are sending the same lineup for all 8 games then just a regular
coach should work. If you want to set specific lineups for each game,
then you need to use the Daily Lineups as it gives you a lot more
flexibility. As soon as you have your coach set for your first 4 road
games, please send that out to the list (and list who the coach is for
so it is easier for teams to keep the ones they need).
Also, I would ask you PLEASE include your 4 home strats as well
both for your sake and mine as if I have to sim your home games for
any reason I will just let the game set up your strat if none is
defined and you will have to deal with any penalties later on.
I am going to start using the
strat file page and upload everyones coaches to the website like I did
in the past so they are easy to find when needed.
**** IMPORTANT
- Action PC Game File Update dated 1/24/2022.
You need
to send out game exports as well as boxscores for all 4 home games by
the second Sunday of the block at 9 pm This is MANDATORY, both the
exports AND boxscores please.
Game summaries are nice, even if it’s just one quick
comment for all 4 games, just adds to the league and makes it
easier for everyone to see what is going on.
If I do not receive game exports after
sending updates on Saturday and Sunday, I will send one more
request directly about an hour before the
deadline on Sunday.
Unless I get a request for an extension of time, I will wait
til the deadline and about 30 minutes later I
will sim games so I can get new files out before I go to bed
Sunday night.
