MESSAGE FROM
THE COMMISSIONER
Block 2 is in
the books, pretty smooth and quick block with most everyone getting
their games in well before the deadline.
This next block will be 3 weeks long and lasts until Sunday,
December 6 to give a bit extra time for Thanksgiving so take your time
and work on the games are your own pace and enjoy the holiday.
I would be remiss if I did not send an official welcome to our
newest coach in Carolina as Sam Alberry takes over the reins of the
club in block 2. Sam can be reached at
sam.alberry@yahoo.com and
has already played his first block of home games with resounding
success. Welcome to the league Sam!

Files are up
for Block 3, please get them and get started on coaches which are due
Wednesday night. Remember
that all injuries this year are coaches decisions BUT all players are
limited to the exact number of NHL games from last year, so plan
accordingly. If you are
sending the same lineup for all 8 games then just a regular coach
should work. If you want to set specific lineups for each game, then
you need to use the Daily Lineups as it gives you a lot more
flexibility. As soon as you have your coach set for your first 4 road
games, please send that out to the list (and list who the coach is for
so it is easier for teams to keep the ones they need).
Also, I would ask you PLEASE include your 4 home strats as well
both for your sake and mine as if I have to sim your home games for
any reason I will just let the game set up your strat if none is
defined and you will have to deal with any penalties later on.
I am going to start using the
strat file page and upload everyones coaches to the website like I did
in the past so they are easy to find when needed.
**** IMPORTANT
- Action PC Game File Update dated 10/14/2020.
You need to
send out game exports as well as boxscores for all 4 home
games
by the second Sunday of the block at 9 pm This is
MANDATORY, both the exports
AND boxscores please.
Game summaries are nice, even if it’s just one quick
comment for all 4 games, just adds to the league and makes
it easier for
everyone to see what is going on.
If I do not receive game exports after
sending
updates on Saturday and Sunday, I will send one more request
directly
about an hour before the deadline on Sunday.
Unless I get a request for an
extension of time, I
will wait til the deadline and about 30 minutes later I
will sim games so I can get new files out before I go to bed
Sunday night.
