MESSAGE FROM
THE COMMISSIONER
So block 1 is
complete with a few minor hiccups as a couple of teams did not send
coaches and one did not submit any game results. Guys, need at least
some communication from you if you are going to be late with coaches
or game results or if you need help.
I know things are a bit weird right now and everyone has things
in their life that can get in the way, we all understand this, but I
just ask that you take 10 seconds and drop me an email to let me know
if things are going to keep you away from the game so I can make sure
you are covered. Overall
though some pretty competitive hockey from most teams with a few
surprises at the top. Good
luck in block 2, let’s get everything in on time please!
Files are up
for Block 1, please get them and get started on coaches which are due
Wednesday night. Remember
that all injuries this year are coaches decisions BUT all players are
limited to the exact number of NHL games from last year, so plan
accordingly. If you are
sending the same lineup for all 8 games then just a regular coach
should work. If you want to set specific lineups for each game, then
you need to use the Daily Lineups as it gives you a lot more
flexibility. As soon as you have your coach set for your first 4 road
games, please send that out to the list (and list who the coach is for
so it is easier for teams to keep the ones they need).
Also, I would ask you PLEASE include your 4 home strats as well
both for your sake and mine as if I have to sim your home games for
any reason I will just let the game set up your strat if none is
defined and you will have to deal with any penalties later on.
I am going to start using the
strat file page and upload everyones coaches to the website like I did
in the past so they are easy to find when needed.
**** IMPORTANT
- Action PC Game File Update dated 10/14/2020.
You need to
send out game exports as well as boxscores for all 4 home games by the
second Sunday of the block at 9 pm This is MANDATORY, both the exports
AND
boxscores please.
Game summaries are nice, even if it’s just one quick
comment for
all 4 games, just adds to the league and makes it easier for everyone
to see what is going on.
If I do not receive game exports after
sending
updates on Saturday and Sunday, I will send one more request directly
about an hour before the deadline on Sunday.
Unless I get a request for an
extension of
time, I will wait til the deadline and about 30 minutes later I will
sim games so I can get new files out before I go to bed Sunday night.
