MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Well that was a super fast cup final and after 6 games, the St. Louis Blues and Bill Dod are the RHL Champions for 2018-19.  Congratulations to Bill and also to Sean who continues to have a perennial powerhouse that just keeps going to the big game.  This series saw Toronto lose a rare game at all and even more rare was that it was on home ice and this cost the Leafs as the Blues just continued to roll along and they were all pretty close games but in the end a really good series goes to the Prince of Wales champion St. Louis and our 19th season comes to and end.

Well sort of.  We still have the draft lottery to complete, and I hope to do this on Sunday if I can find a couple of owners to help me out.  On that note, next year the draft lottery will be done using the NHL Draft lottery as this prop passed unanimously and will be added to the constitution.

The other two props had only 2 Yes votes each and both do not pass, so just the one change to our rules for this year. As soon as I get an idea when the game will be released I will put together an offseason schedule. I am hoping maybe we can get it a little earlier this year, but once the game is released, I can do the new salaries, we will then sign our free agents and prepare for the draft. I hope we can start a bit earlier this year and finish the season by the end of April rather than June. Thanks guys for a great season, really appreciate how you all worked hard to learn the new game and worked with me on the various issues we ran into. Look forward to our 20th season next year!
