MESSAGE FROM
THE COMMISSIONER
A good block
despite some email and strat issues, thanks for working to get
everything in on time.
There were three trades at the deadline each one seeing contenders
trying to get just a little bit better before they head into the final
stretch run. We now just
have 6 weeks left in the regular season, everyone is doing a great
job, but now is when some teams will fall to the wayside, so please
keep on top of your games and deadlines.
No new overuse, which has been a great thing this year, let’s
keep a close watch on this as we play these final 26 games of the
season. Good luck to all,
look for some playoff race updates in this spot after block 8.
Block 8 is
ready and the updated league file is on the website.
Remember to plan for your correct injury games each block and
you need to upload a strat for the first 4 games by Wednesday night
(remember they all upload automatically each time you save them or
assign strats to games).
Also, I would ask you PLEASE include your 4 home strats as well both
for your sake and mine as if I have to sim your home games for any
reason I will just let the game set up your strat if none is defined
and you will have to deal with any penalties later on.
You need to
send out game exports as well as boxscores for all 4 home games by the
second Sunday of the block at 9 pm This is MANDATORY, both the exports
AND boxscores please.
Game summaries are nice, even if it’s just one quick comment
for all 4 games, just adds to the league and makes it easier for
everyone to see what is going on.
If I do not receive game exports after sending updates on
Saturday and Sunday, I will send one more request directly about an
hour before the deadline on Sunday.
Unless I get a request for an extension of time, I will wait
til the deadline and about 30 minutes later I will sim games so I can
get new files out before I go to bed Sunday night.
