THE COMMISSIONER
Hope everyone
had a good holiday and thanks to all for getting their games in on
time. Halfway through the
season and the trade deadline is just 1 month away.
After that the playoff races will start to heat up so over the
next 16 games we will see who the contenders think they are and who is
in selling mode and looking to the draft already. Strats due out on
Wednesday January 17th with games due on Sunday, January 28th.
Well, we had our first player overused this block, just 1 game,
so hopefully just an oversight or a wrong strat used, please start to
keep a close eye on this going forward as the game makes it pretty
easy to track. Just one
trade this block despite the 4 weeks to get deals done, will be
interesting to see if things pick up for the next couple of weeks..
Block 6 is
ready and the updated league file is on the website.
Remember to plan for your correct injury games each block and
you need to upload a strat for the first 4 games by Wednesday night
(remember they all upload automatically each time you save them or
assign strats to games).
Also, I would ask you PLEASE include your 4 home strats as well both
for your sake and mine as if I have to sim your home games for any
reason I will just let the game set up your strat if none is defined
and you will have to deal with any penalties later on.
You need to
send out game exports as well as boxscores for all 4 home games by the
second Sunday of the block at 9 pm This is MANDATORY, both the exports
AND boxscores please.
Game summaries are nice, even if it’s just one quick comment
for all 4 games, just adds to the league and makes it easier for
everyone to see what is going on.
If I do not receive game exports after sending updates on
Saturday and Sunday, I will send one more request directly about an
hour before the deadline on Sunday.
Unless I get a request for an extension of time, I will wait
til the deadline and about 30 minutes later I will sim games so I can
get new files out before I go to bed Sunday night.
