MESSAGE FROM
THE COMMISSIONER
We are ready
to start our 18th season of the RHL but first I wanted to
address the sad news of this past week as we heard of the passing of
former league member, Phil Goldring.
I know many of you knew him much better than I did, but my
interactions with him were always first class, he was a great league
member and really added something to the league that we will always be
missing. I would like to dedicate this season to the memory of Phil
and while I know that isn’t much I think it is the best tribute we can
do.
Block 1 is
ready and the updated league file is on the website.
Remember to plan for your correct injury games each block and
you need to upload a strat for the first 4 games by Wednesday night.
Also, I would ask you PLEASE include your 4 home strats as well
both for your sake and mine as if I have to sim your home games for
any reason I will just let the game set up your strat if none is
defined and you will have to deal with any penalties later on.
You need to
send out game exports as well as boxscores for all 4 home games by the
second Sunday of the block at 9 pm This is MANDATORY, both the exports
AND boxscores please.
Game summaries are nice, even if it’s just one quick comment
for all 4 games, just adds to the league and makes it easier for
everyone to see what is going on.
If I do not receive game exports after sending updates on
Saturday and Sunday, I will send one more request directly about an
hour before the deadline on Sunday.
Unless I get a request for an extension of time, I will wait
til the deadline and about 30 minutes later I will sim games so I can
get new files out before I go to bed Sunday night.
