MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Block 7 is finished and the trade deadline has passed with a flurry of deals as the contenders got better and the pretenders look to the draft. Now the playoff races will being in earnest and the games really start to mean everything. Thanks to everyone for working to get strats and games in on time I rely on you guys to help me keep things rolling.  Another player overused, still way better than past seasons, but please doublecheck your strats before you send them to be sure everyone isn’t set for too many games.  Block 8 is a normal 2 week block so let’s get going on strats right away.  Good luck to all!

Block 8 is ready and the updated league file is on the website.  Remember to plan for your correct injury games each block and you need to put out a strat for all 4 road games by Wednesday night and please when you send them, put the teams they are for either in the subject or the body of the email so teams can quickly see if they need them.  Also, I would ask you PLEASE include your 4 home strats as well both for your sake and mine as if I have to sim your home games for any reason I will just let the game set up your strat if none is defined and you will have to deal with any penalties later on.

You need to send out game exports as well as boxscores for all 4 home games by the second Sunday of the block at 9 pm This is MANDATORY, both the exports AND boxscores please.   Game summaries are nice, even if it’s just one quick comment for all 4 games, just adds to the league and makes it easier for everyone to see what is going on.  If I do not receive game exports after sending updates on Saturday and Sunday, I will send one more request directly about an hour before the deadline on Sunday.  Unless I get a request for an extension of time, I will wait til the deadline and about 30 minutes later I will sim games so I can get new files out before I go to bed Sunday night.
