MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
Some things get sorted out, most
get tighter, and the final 10 games are going to be pretty exciting.
Guys, please, try and get games in on time or let me know if you are
going to need some extra time. Also, remember you play 5 games this
block, so leave yourself a little extra time. Playoff update below,
good luck to all in the stretch run.
In the Campbell
Conference Sharks lead the division, conference and league and look
like they may hold on to that top spot.
They lead Toronto by 13 points in the Orr and
just need 4 wins to clinch that division. Toronto can finish no worse
than 2nd and will host a
round 1 playoff game. Boston is a distant third but hold a 7 point
lead on Montreal and LA who are tied for 4th.
Dallas is a distant 6th
and look to be fighting for the top lottery slot. Vancouver has just a
6 point lead on Florida in the Lemieux while Edmonton sits in third
just 2 points behind the Panthers. Colorado is a distant 4th
but pretty much a lock as the first wild card time with a 17 point
lead on Calgary who holds the final playoff position but have both
Montreal and LA just 5 points back. Pittsburgh is fighting Dallas for
the top lottery position as they sit 11 points back of the Flames in 6th.
In the
Prince of Wales Conference NY Rangers lead the Islanders by a single
point in the Howe division with Detroit 11 points back in 3rd
though they are 7 points up on New Jersery who is sitting 4th
by 6 points over Chicago. In the Horton Utah leads Philly by 3 points
and St. Louis is 3rd, 5
points back of the Flyers. Buffalo sits 4th
and hold wild card #1 by 3 points and lead Anaheim by 7 points in the
division. The Devils have that final playoff spot right now and hold a
6 point lead over Anaheim and Chicago with Washington officially
eliminated and Carolina on life support.
Block
9 is in the books, files are ready for block 10. Remember that all
injuries this year are coaches decisions BUT all players are limited
to the exact number of NHL games from last year, so plan accordingly.
If you are sending the same lineup for all 8
games then just a regular coach should work. If you want to set
specific lineups for each game, then you need to use the Daily Lineups
as it gives you a lot more flexibility. As soon as you have your coach
set for your first 5 road games, please send that out to the list (and
list who the coach is for so it is easier for teams to keep the ones
they need).
Also, I would ask you PLEASE include your 5
home strats as well both for your sake and mine as if I have to sim
your home games for any reason I will just let the game set up your
strat if none is defined and you will have to deal with any penalties
later on. I
am going to continue using the strat file page and upload everyones
coaches to the website like I did in the past so they are easy to find
when needed.

IMPORTANT
- Action PC Game File Update dated 03/10/2026.
You need to send out game exports as well as boxscores for all
4 home games by the second Sunday of the block at 9 pm This is
MANDATORY, both the exports AND boxscores please.
Game summaries are nice, even if it’s just one
quick comment for all 4 games, just adds to the league and makes it
easier for everyone to see what is going on.
If I do not receive game exports after sending
updates on Saturday and Sunday, I will send one more request directly
about an hour before the deadline on Sunday.
Unless I get a request for an extension of
time, I will wait til the deadline and about 30 minutes later I will
sim games so I can get new files out before I go to bed Sunday night.
