MESSAGE FROM THE
COMMISSIONER
Into the second half of the season and the trades
came fast and furious this block with 6 of them. Some were straight up
hockey trades with some teams shaking things up to be a better
contender. Others see some teams deciding they are sellers, with some
teams definitely starting to fall out of the races. This could mean
anything for block 7 and the two weeks leading to the deadline as
teams finally decide they might be done, more deals could happen or
things could already be all done. In the Prince of Wales, we have 8
teams who are in the playoffs right now, two teams who are in touch
with the wild card and then a couple who likely look to be done for
the season already. The Campbell is a weird one as the Lemieux
division have 5 teams pretty solidly in the playoffs as Calgary has a
6 point lead in the final wild card, but the Orr is where things get
strange. Sharks and Leafs are well on their way to clinching playoff
spots already, but then you have four teams still within 4 points of 3rd
place though almost 20 points behind second place. Will be interesting
to see how these teams approach the trade deadline over these final 2
weeks. Good luck to all and remember, all deals must be confirmed by 9
pm Sunday, March 15th.
Block
6 is in the books, files are ready for block 7. Remember that all
injuries this year are coaches decisions BUT all players are limited
to the exact number of NHL games from last year, so plan accordingly.
If you are sending the same lineup for all 8
games then just a regular coach should work. If you want to set
specific lineups for each game, then you need to use the Daily Lineups
as it gives you a lot more flexibility. As soon as you have your coach
set for your first 4 road games, please send that out to the list (and
list who the coach is for so it is easier for teams to keep the ones
they need).
Also, I would ask you PLEASE include your 4
home strats as well both for your sake and mine as if I have to sim
your home games for any reason I will just let the game set up your
strat if none is defined and you will have to deal with any penalties
later on. I
am going to continue using the strat file page and upload everyones
coaches to the website like I did in the past so they are easy to find
when needed.

IMPORTANT
- Action PC Game File Update dated 02/13/2026.
You need to send out game exports as well as boxscores for all
4 home games
by the second Sunday of the block at 9 pm This is
MANDATORY, both the exports
AND boxscores please.
Game summaries are nice, even if it’s just one
quick
comment for all 4 games, just adds to the league and makes
it easier for
everyone to see what is going on.
If I do not receive game exports after
sending updates on Saturday and Sunday, I will send one more request
directly
about an hour before the deadline on Sunday.
Unless I get a request for an
extension of
time, I will wait til the deadline and about 30 minutes later I
will sim games so I can get new files out before I go to bed Sunday
night.
