MESSAGE FROM
THE COMMISSIONER
Block 1 is in the books and we are off and
running. Not too bad, just one set of games simmed and everyone else
on time. Let’s keep up the good work and you have 3 weeks to play
these games so enjoy the holidays and take your time getting them
done. Some interesting results so far and we’ll see if things continue
as they are or revert to form as the blocks continue to roll on. Good
luck to all and have a Happy Holidays!
Block 1 is in
the books, files are ready for block 2. Remember that all injuries
this year are coaches decisions BUT all players are limited to the
exact number of NHL games from last year, so plan accordingly.
If you are sending the same lineup for all 8 games then just a
regular coach should work. If you want to set specific lineups for
each game, then you need to use the Daily Lineups as it gives you a
lot more flexibility. As soon as you have your coach set for your
first 4 road games, please send that out to the list (and list who the
coach is for so it is easier for teams to keep the ones they need).
Also, I would ask you PLEASE include your 4 home strats as well
both for your sake and mine as if I have to sim your home games for
any reason I will just let the game set up your strat if none is
defined and you will have to deal with any penalties later on.
I am going to continue using
the strat file page and upload everyones coaches to the website like I
did in the past so they are easy to find when needed.
**** IMPORTANT
- Action PC Game File Update dated 11/14/2025.
You need to send out game exports as well as boxscores for all 4 home
games by the second Sunday of the block at 9 pm This is MANDATORY,
both the exports AND boxscores please.
Game summaries are nice, even if it’s just one quick comment
for all 4 games, just adds to the league and makes it easier for
everyone to see what is going on.
If I do not receive game exports after sending updates on
Saturday and Sunday, I will send one more request directly about an
hour before the deadline on Sunday.
Unless I get a request for an extension of time, I will wait
til the deadline and about 30 minutes later I will sim games so I can
get new files out before I go to bed Sunday night.
