MESSAGE FROM
THE COMMISSIONER
The RHL Cup Finals ended up being a bit
anti-climactic as Arizona outscores Boston 18-10 and the Coyotes win
their third franchise Cup and the first under coach/GM Alex Lane.
Boston had a hell of a season, but didn’t get the defense/goaltending
a cup winner needs while Arizona gives up just 2.5 goals per game and
only 1 in the deciding game of the series to win this one going away.
Steven Stamkos who led the Coyotes and all players in socing for the
playoffs is voted as this years Bob Nystrom Award winner for
outstanding playoff performer. Congratulations to both teams for great
seasons and really everyone else as we had a ton of close races and
interesting playoff series to make it a good one. Season is just about
complete, just finishing up voting on awards and props by next Sunday
and then look for a final newsletter for the season and some time off
in the summer though I will get working on a new RHL Excel soon as
well so you can all start planning while we wait for the new files.
Coaching records page updated as well. Thanks guys, let’s finish up

playoff updated league file and Excel file is on the website.
Remember that all injuries this year are coaches decisions BUT
all players are limited to the exact number of NHL games from last
year, so plan accordingly.
If you are sending the same lineup for all 8 games then just a regular
coach should work. If you want to set specific lineups for each game,
then you need to use the Daily Lineups as it gives you a lot more
flexibility. As soon as you have your coach set for your first 4 road
games, please send that out to the list (and list who the coach is for
so it is easier for teams to keep the ones they need).
Also, I would ask you PLEASE include your 4 home strats as well
both for your sake and mine as if I have to sim your home games for
any reason I will just let the game set up your strat if none is
defined and you will have to deal with any penalties later on.
I am going to continue using
the strat file page and upload everyones coaches to the website like I
did in the past so they are easy to find when needed.
**** IMPORTANT
- Action PC Game File Update dated 10/16/2024.
You need to send out game exports as well as boxscores for all 4 home
games by the second Sunday of the block at 9 pm This is MANDATORY,
both the exports AND boxscores please.
Game summaries are nice, even if it’s just one quick comment
for all 4 games, just adds to the league and makes it easier for
everyone to see what is going on.
If I do not receive game exports after sending updates on
Saturday and Sunday, I will send one more request directly about an
hour before the deadline on Sunday.
Unless I get a request for an
extension of time, I will
wait til the deadline and about 30 minutes later I will sim games so I
can get new files out before I go to bed Sunday night.
