MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
As usual everyone does a great job of getting games in, really appreciate that. Just one block left until the trade deadline, which is next Sunday at 9 pm est and both teams must confirm by that time to be sure that a trade is completed. Please, watch your usage and injuries very carefully the rest of the season and good luck!
Files are up and ready to go for block 7, please get them and get strats out by Wednesday night and if possible don’t make me chase you for them! One player overused again this block, please keep a close eye on things, it is important guys and I hate having to dish out penalties at the end of the year when the game makes it pretty easy to track this now.
The playoff race in the prince of wales conference appears to be all but over at this point as 9th place Washington sits 14 points behind St. Louis, with Phoenix 2 points back in 10th. Chicago and Philly are fighting for the #1 lottery position already. The top 8 is tight, just 12 points between all 8 teams, so anything can still happen there and the matchups are far from set. In the Campbell conference it is much different as everyone is still in the playoff race with just 9 points separating 7th from 12th. At the top Dallas, Toronto and Vancouver are close with everyone else right behind, looks like a tight race to the end, so any deals made this coming block could make a big difference.
